Norths TouchHistory

  1. Norths was established in 1979 as the first touch competition on Sydney’s lower north shore.  From a humble beginning of one grade with 8 teams, the competition has grown to its current state of 32 grades and 260 teams per year. Norths is a non-profit sporting organization run by a Committee, which is supported by an Administrator and Ground Supervisors.

 

The Committee

The committee is elected at the Annual General Meeting by the members (registered players). The executive committee is the President, Treasurer and Secretary, whilst there are 8 general committee members plus the employed Administrator. The current Norths committee is:
