History
1979/80 - Competition Starts with just 8 teams
1981/82 - Competition quickly grows to 40 teams
1984/85 - Summer competition has 80 teams
1987 - Continuous growth leads to the establishment of a Winter competition with 5 grades. Part time administrator appointed to ensure competitions are professionally run.
1988/89 - Competition numbers expand to over 100 for the first time, making it the second largest assoiciation in the state
1995 - Office moved to Artarmon
1999 - 215 teams in Summer (27 Divisions); 122 teams in Winter (16 divisions)

Committee
The committee is elected at the Annual General Meeting by the members (registered players). The executive committee is the President, Treasurer and Secretary, whilst there are 5 general committee members plus the employed Administrator. The current Norths committee is:
